Heart rate, HRV (heart rate variability), and breathing rate estimated from your camera feed
Stress indicators derived from facial blood flow analysis

Face scan data is processed on our own servers and is never shared with third parties. Raw video frames are not stored — only the derived biometric metrics are retained.

1.4 Wellness Check-In Data

We collect data you actively enter including:

Mood and emotional wellbeing ratings
Emotional intelligence (EQ) check-ins
Diet and nutrition logs
Habit tracking entries
Journal entries

1.5 Usage Information

We automatically collect:

Device information (model, operating system, identifiers)

Crash diagnostics and feature usage analytics

1.6 Third-Party Health Integrations

If you connect health devices or services, we may receive data from:

Apple HealthKit
Google Health Connect
Fitbit, Garmin, Whoop, and Oura Ring (when integrated)

All third-party health data is imported only with your explicit permission and is governed by your device’s permission settings.

We do NOT sell your data. We never sell, rent, or trade personal information for marketing purposes.

Do We Share Data With Third Parties?

No. All data is stored on our own servers (api.balanzbeonn.com). We do not share data with advertisers, data brokers, or third-party analytics platforms.

The only exception:

If you opt into AI-powered insights, de-identified data may be processed via OpenAI’s API server-side. No raw health data, biometric data, or personally identifiable information is exposed to OpenAI.

We may share information with:

Service providers supporting app operations
Wellness experts you connect with
Corporate wellness programs (aggregated and anonymized data only)
Legal authorities when required by law
Successor entities during mergers or acquisitions

5. Do We Track You?

No. We do not serve ads, use advertising identifiers (IDFA/GAID), or share data for cross-app tracking purposes.

The App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt shown on iOS is displayed as required by Apple’s guidelines. We never read, record, or transmit your advertising identifier — selecting “Ask App Not to Track” has no functional impact on your experience.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encrypted storage, secure password hashing, restricted access controls, and regular security audits. However, no internet transmission method is completely secure.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your information as long as your account remains active or as required for legal compliance.

Personal data will be removed within 30 days of a deletion request
Aggregated wellness metrics may be retained after deletion for product improvement purposes — these contain no personal identifiers and cannot be linked back to you

9. Health Data Special Provisions

Health and biometric data receives the highest level of protection:

It is never shared with advertisers
It is used only to deliver wellness services and insights directly to you
Face scan biometric data is processed server-side and raw video is never stored

10. Children’s Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

11. Third-Party Services

We may link to third-party services such as AI providers, hosting platforms, and analytics services. We encourage reviewing their privacy policies separately.

12. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries outside your location with appropriate safeguards in place.
